Finance Head / CFO – Argentina

About the role

The Finance Head – Argentina will lead the country’s financial strategy, partnering with the Country President and local leadership to drive growth, profitability and compliance. Reporting to the CFO South America, this senior role combines strategic vision with operational excellence to support Schneider Electric’s business objectives in Argentina.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning for Argentina.
• Act as a strategic partner to the Country President and Leadership Team, aligning financial strategy with regional priorities.
• Drive growth, profitability and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Oversee P&L, cash flow, financial KPIs and provide robust analysis for decision‑making.
• Identify risks and opportunities and propose action plans.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards and Argentine regulations; lead internal and external audits.
• Manage financial, tax and operational risks.
• Supervise controlling, accounting, tax, treasury and reporting functions, promoting efficiency and digitalisation.
• Provide guidance, coaching and performance management to the finance team (dotted‑line reporting).
• Develop finance talent pipeline aligned with organisational priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
• 10‑12+ years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Experience in multinational, matrix organisations.
• Strong background in financial planning, controlling and reporting.
• In‑depth knowledge of Argentine regulations.
• Advanced level of English.
