Field / Inhouse Service Technician

About the role

The Field / Inhouse Service Technician will deliver high‑quality customer service through on‑site installations, repairs, maintenance and testing of technical equipment. The role supports both field and in‑house visits, aiming to improve customer satisfaction, retention and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field and in‑house visits or dispatches.
• Manage on‑site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
• Diagnose technical errors and determine appropriate solutions.
• Produce timely, detailed service reports and ensure correct documentation of processes.
• Operate a vehicle safely and use field automation systems.
• Follow company procedures and protocols, and cooperate with the technical team.
• Understand customer requirements, give briefings and build positive relationships.

Required profile

• Technical degree in electronics, electricity, mechatronics, electromechanics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven field service experience (pharmaceutical, food or biopharmaceutical experience is a plus).
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment.
• Experience with measuring instruments, laboratory calibrations, GMP standards and IQ/OQ qualification (desirable).
• Flexibility to work shifting schedules and adapt to changes.
• High customer orientation, team spirit and familiarity with mobile tools.
• Languages: Spanish and intermediate English.
