Family Practitioner / General Practitioner (Pain Management)

About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner with an interest in pain management to join our progressive, innovative clinic in Nelson. The position offers a flexible work environment, on‑site and virtual patient care, and full support for EMR and billing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care and pain‑management services to patients.
• Conduct virtual consultations for patients unable to travel.
• Document patient encounters using the clinic’s EMR system.
• Collaborate with an efficient staff team for billing and practice operations.
• Participate in practice growth initiatives and referral management.

Required profile

• Licensed Family Practitioner or General Practitioner.
• Strong interest in pain management; willingness to undergo training if needed.
• Ability to work full‑time in a community‑focused setting.
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and virtual health platforms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems.
• Experience or familiarity with virtual health/telemedicine platforms.
