Drafter – Modular Home & Light Gauge Steel Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Drafter specialized in modular home construction and light gauge steel (LGS) framing. The role involves creating detailed Revit drawings, coordinating with engineers and customers, and ensuring compliance with International Building Code standards.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage detailed construction and production drawings using Revit.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and customers throughout project development.
• Interpret and apply International Building Code (IBC) standards to drafting packages.
• Lead and coordinate drafting workflows, supervising a team of drafters.
• Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance.
• Support project coordination and maintain drafting quality control.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional Revit experience.
• Strong background in construction, especially modular and prefabricated homes.
• Experience with Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and customers.
• Leadership experience managing or guiding drafting teams.
• Independent and collaborative work style in a remote environment.
