Country Study Operations Manager I – Clinical Research

About the role

Parexel FSP is seeking a Country Study Operations Manager I to lead study activities in Brazil, Mexico or Argentina. The role supports global study managers from startup through close on studies of limited complexity or specific portions of larger studies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the local study team, including core and ad‑hoc members, to ensure delivery of study milestones.
• Oversee the preferred CRO and/or Country Trial Manager, maintaining accurate country‑level plans (timeline, budget, risk, quality).
• Manage study start‑up activities, liaise with Site Care Partners, regulatory colleagues, and health authorities to define submission strategies.
• Provide input on recruitment and activation milestones, monitor deviations, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate vendor deliverables, quality events, protocol deviations, data issues, and audit responses.
• Contribute local intelligence to shape study management strategy and critical‑path planning.

Required profile

• Experience managing clinical studies in the US and Canada.
• Ability to oversee studies of limited complexity across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory submission processes to health authorities and ethics committees.
• Willingness to be based in Brazil, Mexico or Argentina.
