Copywriter – Advisors Creative Desk

About the role

The Advisors Creative Desk within Mastercard’s Data & Services team is looking for a talented copywriter to ideate and produce engaging, on‑brand content for advertising partners and internal brands. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, handling both short‑form and long‑form copy across multiple channels, with a focus on financial‑services marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and convey the vision and values of the Marketing Services organization.
• Develop and execute copy across a wide range of channels including TV, online video, banners, social platforms and print.
• Create direct‑response copy designed to drive action and conversion.
• Present concepts clearly in internal reviews and client meetings, proactively proposing ideas that solve challenges and grow business.
• Lead the development of holistic, memorable creative campaigns from concept to completion and identify emerging trends and new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven copy‑writing experience in a creative agency or on the client side, preferably within financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to write direct‑response marketing copy for multiple media formats.
• Strong conceptual thinking and the capacity to translate marketing insights into compelling, digital‑first advertising campaigns.
• Excellent collaboration skills with graphic designers to ensure cohesive copy‑and‑design solutions.
• Ability to interpret brand/style guidelines and briefing documents and deliver high‑quality content.
• Passion for social‑media platforms, trends, technology and best practices, with a “maker” mentality.
