Assistant Facilities Manager

About the role

The Assistant Facilities Manager will support the Regional Facilities Manager in overseeing daily operations, maintenance and property management of the Buenos Aires site. This hands‑on role ensures the facility runs efficiently, meets safety standards and provides a high‑quality environment for tenants, employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily facility operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other building systems.
• Schedule, supervise and track routine maintenance, repairs and inspections with internal teams and external contractors.
• Handle tenant inquiries, support lease compliance and perform property‑related administrative tasks.
• Source, negotiate and oversee contracts with vendors for cleaning, landscaping and other services.
• Support budget preparation, expense monitoring and identification of cost‑saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, including fire safety, OSHA and environmental guidelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Prepare reports on facility performance, maintenance activities and incidents.
• Act as point of contact for emergencies and coordinate rapid response.
• Assist in training staff on software applications such as Oracle Cloud, Corrigo and WorkDay.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in facilities or property management with hands‑on maintenance oversight.
• Experience managing multiple sites and interacting with tenants and vendors.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility to respond to after‑hours emergencies.
• Physical ability to perform site inspections and maintenance tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMMS platforms, specifically Corrigo.
• Experience using Oracle Cloud and WorkDay.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
