Accounting Manager – Remote

About the role

B Consulting is seeking a remote Accounting Manager to support high‑growth startups and mid‑stage businesses across tech, consumer products, retail, manufacturing, and services. You will work closely with Controllers and a US‑based team while leading a Philippines‑based accounting group to ensure accurate financial reporting and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Execute full‑cycle month‑end close and produce timely financial statements.
• Review and approve work of the offshore accounting team.
• Lead client calls, manage budgets, and handle reconciliations and accrual journal entries.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll reconciliation, sales and purchase orders, and inventory costing.
• Maintain and update financial models, cash forecasts, and reporting tools.
• Assist with tax compliance, including federal, state, sales/use tax, and R&D credits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with public‑accounting exposure.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, fixed assets, lease accounting, and cost accounting.
• Excellent communication, time‑management, and leadership abilities.

• QuickBooks Online (certification preferred), Xero, NetSuite.
• Expense management tools: Expensify, Ramp, Concur, Bill.com.
• Payroll platforms: Gusto, JustWorks, TriNet, ADP.
• Sales platforms: Shopify, Amazon FBA.
• Merchant services: Stripe, PayPal.
• Inventory systems: Cin7, Fishbowl, SOS.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, SUMIF, etc.).
